The European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) has launched two new conferences
• Cancer Cell Plasticity: Cracking the Code of Adaptation and Survival.
• The Rise of Early-Onset Cancers: Biology, Causes, and Detection.
Cancer Cell Plasticity: Cracking the Code of Adaptation and Survival
Taking place online on 02 and 03 December 2025, it will explore the fundamental mechanisms controlling cancer cell plasticity at multiple biological levels, including the epigenome, transcriptome, metabolome, and cellular microenvironment.
If you have an interest in cancer plasticity and tumour heterogeneity, then this meeting is for you! It’s particularly beneficial for anyone working on non-genetic adaptations in cancer cells, including phenotypic changes, metabolic reprogramming, and micro-environmental interactions, and how these contribute to cancer progression.
Opportunities for participants
High-scoring abstracts will be selected for four 10-minute Proffered Papers and three 3-minute Poster Spotlight Presentations. We’ve also planned two x 60-minute Poster Discussion sessions, plus a closing panel discussion between the Scientific Programme Committee – Cédric Blanpain, Chris Marine, Dana Pe’er, and Eduard Batlle..

The Rise of Early-Onset Cancers: Biology, Causes, and Detection Taking place in Bergamo, Italy on 11-13 November 2025, it will explore the biological mechanisms, associated risk factors, and clinical implications of increasingly common early-onset cancers. Leading experts will offer insight from diverse fields and discuss the latest discoveries on this topic. Special attention will be given to knowledge gaps, translational studies, healthcare disparities, and towards improving the clinical management of early-onset cancer patients.
Opportunities for participants
Po As well as the ground-breaking science on offer at this conference, we’ve also planned a range of supplementary activities and networking opportunities:
• Solo traveller’s meet-up – connect with other attendees travelling alone during the first coffee break.
• Networking quiz – a fun and informal way to get to know the conference speakers and organisers.
• Welcome reception – socialise with colleagues old and new during a walking buffet on the first evening.
• Poster discussions – two x 90-minute sessions, plus morning poster viewings.
• Industry exhibition – meet friendly product experts to find out how they can help with your current or upcoming projects.
• Conference dinner – enjoy delicious Italian food at a local taverna on the second evening (optional ticketed event).
• PLUS: high-scoring abstracts will be selected for six 10-minute Proffered Papers and six 3-minute Poster Spotlight Presentations.
