Our members had a very successful participation at the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) 2024 Cancer Metabolism congress, held in Bilbao from 8-10. October 2024.
Dr. Vesna Vucic, Principal Research Fellow, head of the Group for Nutritional Biochemistry and Dietology of the Center of Outstanding Value for Nutrition and Metabolism of the Institute for Medical Research presented the results of the AID Project Prisma Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia with an abstract:
“Reprogramming of Lipid Metabolism in Postmenopausal Breast Cancer Patients Undergoing Aromatase Inhibitor Therapy”

Dr. Otilija Keta, Research Associate of the Vinca Institute of Nuclear Sciences, an Institute of national importance for the Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade, presented the results of the InfCanPlay IDEJE project led by Dr. Vladimir Dobričić with an abstract:
“The Anticancer Potential of COX-2 and 5-LOX Inhibitors in Colorectal and Pancreatic Carcinoma”

Kristina Živić, research associate from the Institute of Oncology and Radiology of Serbia presented the results of the PROMIS project REPANCAN Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia coordinated by Dr. Jelena Grahovac with an abstract:
